Because we love you……….

Hey guys! Because we wanna see everyone do great things, we as coaches have decided that we are going to make some changes. We will no longer allow single unders as a substitute for double unders during warm-ups or the WODs. We feel that no matter how many single unders you have to do in place of double unders that many of you would still choose singles even if you were capable of doubles. To be honest singles have no where close to the same stimulus and you will not get any closer to getting your doubles if you keep doing them. Depending on the WOD we will be allowing either tuck jumps, mt. climbers, or burpees. I know this may be a hard transition but we want to see you guys get those dubs.

Secondly….. we are no longer allowing kipping on the bands. If you are still on a band for pull ups you must do strict pull ups with no kip. Kipping should be taught separately and kipping on the band can lead to some habits that may make it harder of a transition from the banded to unassisted pull ups.

We think by making these changes we will see people PR and get these movements down quicker. If you want to work on any of these movements please come in and get help!!! We are here to help you!
